Andréhn-Schiptjenko has the pleasure of announcing their participation in the first edition of The Independent Brussels.

In a presentation centred around shifting perceptions – of value, aesthetics and reality, we will exhibit The Connoisseur’s Eye, a major installation by Matts Leiderstam, originally conceived for the Berlin Biennale and received with critical acclaim, as well as a large work by young Swedish sculptor Cajsa von Zeipel and work from Uta Barth’s series … and to draw a bright white line with light.

Conceived in 2009, Independent is an invitational art fair devised by and for gallerists. Independent Brussels is the fair’s first edition outside of New York will feature over 60 international galleries and non-profit institutions.

Independent takes place at the Vanderborght building Schildknaapstraat 50 Rue de l’Ecuyer in Brussels and is free and open to the public April 21-23.
