JACOB DAHLGREN [permanent installation] Skanstullshallen, Stockholm, Sweden

Jacob Dahlgren’s work is placed in the space by the ceiling of the entrance and stairs. The inspiration for”Forwardm Back, Right, Left” comes from the various lines on floors in sport gymnasiums. Every sport has its own line pattern, creating multiple drawings that are co-existing. The lines that he has worked with reflect the sport aesthetic, but have a different purpose. Instead of being a guideline in games, they are meant to guide visitors in the building, each colour leads to a different room. There are five lines leading from the entrance to the sport halls. The five colours are the same as the ones used for sports. Together they make an abstract drawing.
