Cecilia Bengolea’s TRIPTYK (2020) is now as part of the MIRE project in Geneva.
With the video-installation TRIPTYK, Cecilia Bengolea proposes a multiple work: she shares her research on dancehall culture in the particular context of the Jamaican community and juxtaposes the images of a choreography created with the Jamaican national synchronized swimming team.

Mire is a programme of unprecedented scope for the dissemination of moving image works in the public space. The project consists of an artistic journey of audiovisual works by Swiss and international artists integrated into the architecture of the Jean Nouvel railway stations. Emerging and established artists are selected by a committee of international experts, which will be renewed over the years, directed by the Fonds cantonal d’art contemporain and chaired by the Centre d’Art Contemporain Genève. This artistic accompaniment is unique in its orientation around audio-visual works on a transport line.
