RETURNS, RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL AND COMPLAINTS

 

As a private individual (not a company), you have a 14-day right of withdrawal on unframed artworks from the date you receive the item. Please contact us by email or phone, and we will help you arrange the return. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.

Please note: The right of withdrawal does not apply to framed artworks, as the frames are custom-made for each artwork. 

 

You always have the right to make a complaint if the artwork has defects that existed at the time of delivery. This right applies under Swedish law even after receipt. Damage that occurs after you have received the item, for example due to improper handling or normal wear and tear in your home, is not covered by this right.

 

To assist you with compensation for transport damage, the damage must be documented and reported immediately upon receipt.

 

For home delivery:

• Check the package before signing for it.
• If visible damage is present, ask the courier to note the damage before signing.
• Take photos of the damage and keep the packaging and shipping label.
• Report the damage to us via email within 3 days of delivery.

 

For pickup at a courier office:

• Note any damage on the shipping document when collecting the package.
• If possible, submit a damage report at the office; otherwise, make a report via the transport company’s website.
• For damage to the artwork itself: email detailed information and photos to info@andrehn-schiptjenko.com within 3 days.
• Keep the packaging, cardboard, shipping label and artwork in a safe location where the damage cannot worsen.

 

Damage discovered only after opening the package:

• Notify us by email within 3 days of receiving the package.
• Include photos of the damage and keep the packaging and shipping label.

We will get back to you as soon as possible with further information on compensation or remedial action.
