"In Dialogue" is a new series of interview books presenting Swedish artists in conversation with a writer, initiated by IASPIS in 2004.
The series aims to provide an in-depth exploration of individual artistic practices that have played a significant role in the Swedish contemporary art scene. Through the conversational format, each book seeks to deepen understanding of the artist’s work, while contributing to IASPIS’s mission of promoting Swedish contemporary art internationally and fostering a dynamic dialogue between the Swedish art scene and the wider world. This volume marks the first in the series.
Annika Elisabeth von Hausswolff (b.1967, Gothenburg) has since the early 1990's participated in numerous exhibitions both in Sweden and internationally. Notable exhibitions include the Nordic Pavilion at the Venice Biennale (1999), Hybrid at Fotomuseum Winterthur, Switzerland (2000), Magasin 3 Stockholm Konsthall (2000), X-rummet at Statens Museum for Kunst, Copenhagen (2003), and Berlin North at Hamburger Bahnhof (2004).
